Through sampling of the target species Montastraea cavernosa, this project will assess ecological connectivity, both locally and regionally, through evaluation of genomic molecular markers. These efforts will also address the efficacy of the deep reef refugia hypothesis (Glynn 1996), which posits that deep and mesophotic reefs less impacted by thermal and anthropogenic stressors can be sources of larvae to help repopulate degraded shallow coral reefs. The objectives will also include a reciprocal transplant experiment to track coral responses to changing environmental conditions over the next several years.\n\ncdm_data_type = Trajectory\nVARIABLES:\ntrajectory (FGBNMS-16-03-CIOERT_Tech_Diving)\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlatitude (Furuno_SC30_Latitude, degrees_north)\nlatitudeFlag (Furuno SC30 Latitude Quality flag, degrees_north)\nlongitude (Furuno_SC30_Longitude, degrees_east)\nlongitudeFlag (Furuno_SC30_Longitude_Flag, degrees_east)\ndepth (Depth of instrument, surface, m)\ntemperature (thermosalinograph temperature, degree_C)\ntemperatureFlag (thermosalinograph temperature Flag)\nconductivity (thermosalinograph conductivity, S/m)\nconductivityFlag (thermosalinograph conductivity quality flag)\nsalinity (thermosalinograph salinity, PSU)\nsalinityFlag (thermosalinograph salinity quality flag)\npar (PAR/Irradiance, uMolPhotons m^-2 s^-1)\nparFlag (PAR/Irradiance)\nairTemperature (Young air temperature, degree_C)\nairTemperatureFlag (Young air temperature flag)\nairPressure (Young Barometric_pressure, hPa)\nairPressureFlag (Young Barometric_pressure)\n...
